What You Need to Know:

Directions for Use:

  • Apply 1-2 drops per area being treated with the Micro-Dermal Needling Pen.
  • Only apply to the area being treated at the time to avoid product penetrating too quickly and losing slip.
  • Apply another drop if need be to prevent dragging on the skin.
  • Avoid the dropper touching the face to prevent cross-contamination.

There are many different types of growth factors in the skin, each with their own unique function. We will
specifically be focussing on FGF’s (Fibroblast Growth Factors) due to having a very broad action on the skin
and its functions. These FGF’s play a central role in wound healing, is important for cell multiplication and
also crucial in GAG (Glycosaminoglycan) and collagen synthesis.

When our skins are young, FGF’s are linked to PG’s (Proteoglycans) which help protect them and
encourages linkage to fibroblast receptors. When our skin ages, the amount of PG’s in our skin reduces
which means that growth factors are then more susceptible to degradation.
