Hi my name is Ilse Vermeulen and
I'm the Managing Director/ Founder/ Caring Owner at Youth Beauty.


Ilse, our faithful leader doesn't sleep. She tirelessly keeps the company on the cutting edge of products, machinery and trading in the global market in the beauty industry. Her get up and go has seen her through 10 years + of developing what YB is now in NZ and Australia....

My key roles:

My key roles are to look after the well-being of our Team and our Clients.
I am passionately supporting our team members to develop personally & professionally.
 
I carry the best interests of our clients on my heart and I invest my energy into successful and beneficial relationships with our suppliers and manufacturers to get the best outcomes for our Clients.
In everything I do, I aim to:

What inspires me:

I am inspired by finding new solutions to problems our clients experience in their businesses. I love seeing business owners develop themselves and grow their businesses.
I am forever fine-tuning systems and procedures in Youth Beauty to improve the outcomes for our Clients, Suppliers and Team Members.

Background
I have always been passionate in increasing the well-being for others and also delivery of the highest customer experience. I have extensive experience in the Health, Medical & Service industries in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
I started my career as a Sports and Exercise Specialist in South Africa. I then relocated to Australia and pursued a Bachelors of Prosthetics & Orthotics.  After being head hunted to work at the Artificial Limb Board in Wellington, I immigrated to NZ.
With my father’s involvement in the Beauty industry, beauty was always ‘in my blood’, and in 2006 Youth Beauty New Zealand was founded.

For over 7 years I have been researching and specializing in advanced technologies like IPL, Dermabrasion, Dermal Needling, Paramedical Skincare and Chemical Peels. Understanding that these innovated technologies require specialised training Youth Beauty has a permanent training specialist to ensure we train our Clients in the correct use of their new technologies.

I have also graduated with honors from an advanced Marketing Mastermind course and have helped a lot of clients to get more “bang for their buck” and more client’s response to simple marketing that works.
