Dr Platon is a professional device, with a very powerful cold plasma output. This next-generation, high-frequency system uses innovative cold (non-thermal) plasma shower technology to convert the primary gases in the air between the device tip and the patient’s skin (mainly Oxygen & Nitrogen) to non-thermal plasma, at a temperature of 35-40 °C.

The device offers practitioners 3 interchangeable plasma tips, which are all ceramic to ensure optimal conductivity.

The impact of cold atmospheric plasma on the skin:

• ACNE –  For acne and oily skin, plasma is extremely effective in destroying P. acne bacteria, quickly reducing skin inflammation, soothing the skin, and preventing acne reoccurrence by balancing sebum production. It is one of the gentlest ways to treat acne (including teenage acne) and is suitable from 12 years and over (with parental consent).

• PROBLEMATIC & IRRITATED SKIN – The oxidative stress of cold atmospheric plasma has an antioxidant impact on the skin’s immune system.
