The LAMPROBE is a unique instrument for the effective treatment of a wide range of common minor skin irregularities™. LAMPROBE treatments are exceptionally quick (3-5 seconds), with instantaneous results, in one treatment only.
Skin conditions effectively treated by the LAMPROBE include: telangiectasia, milia, cholesterol deposits, clogged pores, cherry angiomas, spider naevi, skin tags, fibromas, pimples and acne.
The astounding LAMPROBE, developed by Hubert Lam, uses radio frequency technology to treat minor skin abnormalities, without penetrating the skin’s surface.
The discomfort level experienced by the client is tolerable, with the sensation produced feeling much like a tight pinch to the skin. Sensitive skins, thin skins, and aging skins can also be comfortably treated and intensity settings can adjust easily. No anesthesia is required.
The LAMPROBE rapidly and effectively treats a broad range of minor vascular, sebaceous, and fibroma related skin irregularities that are very common in men and women alike. These conditions tend to become more even prevalent as one ages and while only cosmetic in nature, can be bothersome to individuals desiring flawless skin and an attractive appearance.
Sebaceous irregularities appear mostly on the scalp, t-zone area of the face, and on the back. The LAMRPOBE treats these very common conditions through a precise vaporization modality quickly and effectively, and with extreme precision.
Results are instantaneous, in one treatment only.
Clogged Pores are sebaceous irregularities that are result from a build of sebum and dead keratinized cells inside the duct. They are most commonly found on the cheeks and can give the skin a duller complexion.
Cholesterol Deposits, also know as Xanthelasma, are soft yellowish plaques of lipids that are usually found around the eyes. Individuals with high lipid levels are often predisposed to this condition. Cholesterol deposits are most often small to medium in sized and may also be raised.
Milia are plugs of sebum covered with layers of stratum cornified cells. As a result, they are usually rough to the touch and difficult to treat by manual extraction. Milia are commonly found on the forehead and cheeks and tend to be discolored or off-white in color.
Inflamed pimples are sebaceous skin irregularities treatable with the LAMPROBE. Inflamed pimples or papules are raised lesions that are filled with pus. They commonly appear in acneic skin and oily skin as well.
Sebaceous Hyperplasia appear as soft, yellowish papules with a cauliflower or doughnut-shaped appearance.
They can appear on the forehead and cheeks, particularly on oily and asphyxiated skins.
Vascular irregularities can appear in different forms and tend to be more noticeable in fair skinned or thin-skinned individuals. They are superficial in nature and present on the upper epidermal level of the skin.
Vascular irregularities appear most often on the face. Some of these irregularities such as cherry angiomas may appear on the chest and torso. Common conditions such as dilated capillaries, cherry angiomas, and spider naevi fall in the vascular irregularities category.
Vascular lesions appear in different forms, representing changes in superficial blood vessels as angiomas or vascular irregularities of vessels. When they appear in an excessive amount they give the skin an overall reddish or “couperose” complexion, such as rosacea.
Dilated Capillaries, also referred to as Telangiectasia or Broken Capillaries, are tiny superficial dilated blood vessels appear as red wavy lines on the skin. They tend to appear particularly around the nose, cheeks and even the décolleté area.
Cherry angiomas appear as bright red to purple dots of blood on the surface of the skin. They are usually found on body’s upper trunk, such as the neck and chest area. Some people are predisposed to having multiple cherry angiomas.
Spider naevi are dilated blood that are small and bright red with radiating threads. Commonly seen in women, they may be associated with pregnancy, obesity and oral contraceptive use.

Skin tags and keratoses are common skin growths can appear all over the face and body. Like many common Minor Skin Irregularities™, hyperkerantinized irregularities tend to increase in prevalence with age, specifically developing in middle age and older.
Hyperkerantized irregularities include skin tags, fibromas, and keratoses.
Keratinocytes, which make up 90% of epidermal skin cells, go through the process of keratinization which regenerates the skin regularly and results in a skin that looks smoother and fresher with a more youthful glow. Keratoses are skin growths that result from the excess production of keratinized cells. They appear in varying different forms, consisting of soft or hard keratinized cells.
Fibromas are skin growths which are benign tumors that are either flat, raised, small or large. They either sit on the skin’s surface or are found attached by a short thin neck or peduncle. They can also range in colour from skin tone to darker.
Seborrheic keratoses are benign skin lesions that are small to large in size. They often appear during middle age or older. Seborrheic keratoses are usually found on the back, face, scalp and chest. These superficial lesions appear warty, greasy, pigmented (dark yellow to black), scaly and somewhat flat in shape.
A skin tag is a small fibroma that can appear in either a single or multiple formation and are sometimes referred to as achrochordon.
They can be found all over the face and body but they are mostly found on the neck, breasts, the axillae and they may also appear on eyelids.

LAMPROBE services are generally offered by practitioners as a facultative, add-on service during standard skin care treatments or as a stand-alone service. As an add-on service, practitioners particularly appreciate that LAMPROBE treatments are so rapid that they generally do not lengthen the duration of a client’s regular treatment session. LAMPROBE treatments are normally priced between $30-$150, per irregularity.
The LAMPROBE’s new patent pending MSI Colour Category System features colour coded keys that enable practitioners to easily treat Minor Skin Irregularities™ (MSI) by MSI Colour Category – Vascular, Sebaceous, Kerantinized. Darker skins, qualifying as Fitzpatrick IV-VI Skin Types, can also be treated by this system.
With a press on the Red circle, for example, the machine’s settings are primed for treating Vascular Conditions, such as Cherry Angiomas, Dilated Capillaries, and Spider Naevi. Settings from there can be further finessed, according to the size and type of condition, to a single digit accuracy.
To treat Sebaceous Conditions, such as Milia, Cholesterol Deposits, and Sebaceous Hyperplasia, simply press on the Yellow circle, and adjust if needed from there. LAMPROBE treatment time lasts only seconds! Results are instantaneous.
All skin tones can be treated with the LAMPROBE. For darker skin types, qualifying as Fitzpatrick IV-VI Skin types, simply press on the Grey circle button and adjust settings appropriately from there, if needed.
