INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF VITAPAN SHADE GUIDE
The Vitapan Shade guide is the best method of determining a before and after shade of  teeth colour when using the Cosmetic Bright Teeth Whitening system.
 
The chart compromises of various shades of actual porcelain teeth. i.e these are true shades of real teeth and are grouped in colour blocks from greys to reds to yellows. This method is used by all dentists when providing teeth whitening and is far better than a before and after photograph.
 
Determine the closest shade of the client’s teeth that matches the chart by removing the tooth from the chart which is closest in colour to the client’s worst stained tooth. N.B.  This is often the eye tooth at the top of the mouth.
After the teeth whitening session is complete hold up the tooth which matched the original shade and compare to the newly whitened teeth. There should be an immediate and noticeable difference.
Please note that we recommend you do not look for a comparable colour on the chart to the client’s newly whitened teeth, merely compare the before and after using the original matching colour
