How long does a treatment take?

Most blemishes can be treated in a few seconds. Depending on the amount of telangiectasia grouping the treatment session can last about 10-15 minutes.

Is it painful?

Some experience a prickly sensation that can be mildly uncomfortable. Your skin care therapist may use a numbing agent for the treatment in sensitive areas to minimize the discomfort. If an injectable is used the formulation will be without epinephrine in order to diminish the effect of vessel constriction.

How is the procedure done?

Your skin care therapist will clean and prep the area. A sterile probe is inserted into the capillary and RF and DC current pass through the probe into the capillary and coagulates the blood flow. The coagulated segment is the clot that blocks the flow of blood in the capillary. When telangiectases are removed, new normal-size capillaries regrow to efficiently feed the skin.

Post treatment is critical for success. Nothing must be done to open the coagulated blood vessel segments. Anything that increases the skin’s blood flow or stretches the skin must be avoided for at least 24 hours. Clients must not stretch their skin, sunbathe, exercise, take a sauna, wash their face or apply make-up for at least 24 hours following treatment.

The Skin System vascular and blemish removal  provides an inexpensive procedure for the treatment of Telangiectasia, cherry angiomas, spider veins, and skin tags found on the face and body. The Skin System provides better results than high intensity devises such as laser or hyfrecators. 
Definition of Phoresis with unipolar Galvanic Current: 
The penetration  of liquid or product through an unbroken membrane. 

The negative current, ANA, is used to stimulate the skin, open pores, promote healing, and soften the skin. It normally is used at the beginning of a facial. 

The positive current, CATA will reduse redness, unflamation and swelling, promote healing, reduce pore size, and soothe the skin. This polarity is used at the end of the facial to hold in the vital nutrients that were added during the treatment.
COMBINING SKIN SYSTEM LED THERAPY WITH MICRODERMABRASION
  • Remove Make-up
  • Thoroughly cleanse the treatment areas
  • Use Microdermabrasion as directed by manufacturer (1 or 2 passes)
  • Remove any remaining crystals
  • Rinse the skin with a soothing lotion
  • Begin the Clareblend Light therapy treatments
  • Apply active products with a light massage
  • Apply protective sunscreen minimum (SPF 30)
To enhance this treatment a soothing mask can be applied after the LED treatment prior to the finishing products.
Note: During a series of 4 to 6 treatments Microdermabrasion can be done every two weeks.
COMBINING LED THERAPY WITH OTHER TREATMENTS
Chemical Peels:
Chemical Peels should be done per manufacturer’s directions. Use the LED therapy after the peels, prior to the active products. Always finish with an appropriate sunscreen.

Collagen or Specialty Masques:
LED therapy should be done as directed in the manual, prior to your active products, apply Collagen or Specialty Masque, leave on for the recommended time, remove and finish treatment with active products.
ELECTROLYSIS POST TREATMENT LIGHT PHORESIS
After Electrolysis prepare the Red (633nm) light with Saran Wrap. Apply small amount of DMAE/Hyaluronic gel to plastic wrap for added slippage. The light may also be lifted from the skin and moved to the next area without using the “clear” gel.
Plug the light into your base unit or into an AC wall outlet if you have the wall adapter. Turn on the light with the button on top of the unit. Slowly move the LED light unit over the treatment areas approximately 1 minute.
